Make Lemon Viniagrette! Making Small Changes to Get Big Results – A Series. Part 1
Why is when things go wrong so many of us have the impulse to put something unhealthy in our body? Whether it is a sugary snack, chips, alcohol, a big unhealthy “supersize” meal from your local fast food restaurant, many of us have grown used to turning to stuffing ourselves when things get tough.
Well I’m here to tell you how to change that! So much of it of our reactions come from being in a society where we don’t talk to people any more. We feel alone. We don’t hang out our windows and chat with our neighbors any more. We live far away from our families. We just feel like we have no where to turn.
Slowly over time, we develop bad habits. After our first big crisis that we distracted ourselves with Ben & Jerry’s we do it again and again and before we know it, we immediately reach for food at the first sign of distress. That adds up to unhealthy bodies and unhealthy minds and spirits. Well no MORE!
You CAN change your life. You can choose to do the things that will get you healthy and happy. A lot of times it can seem daunting to change your diet. But it is actually a lot simpler than you think.
First, start small. Just do one thing to change your diet. Add drinking 8 glasses of water to your daily intake. Replace ONE meal with Shakeology® or start bringing your lunch to work instead of going through the drive through.
So often people get overwhelmed with the thought of completely changing their diets. Just start with one or two things and then add additional changes in each week. Before you know it, you will have new healthy habits that you will like better! You won’t like to put junk in your body any more. Instead of turning to junk food when you get lemons you will make a lemon vinaigrette to put over a delicious salad.
